2013: The Valiant Little Tailor (Own Design)

Inspired by the Steampunk versions of Puss in Boots and Pied Piper of Hamelin by and , I decided to do a matching version of another fairytail character, and my choice was the Valiant Little Tailor - who better to suit my hobbies than this one??? ^^
This time, not everything of the cosplay is made by hand - it was not enough time to do so.
The cosplay has been done within about one or two weeks, since I also had to finish Azula at the same time.
The corset, cap, "belt" and the bag are made by me, of leather, velvet and faux leather. Actually, the middle part of the corset, as well as the shoulder straps and the wrist bands, are made of a great real leather with a flower pattern, that I came across at a market that took place shortly before the convention that the Tailor should be worn at. I first wanted to do kind of a patchwork for that part, but when I saw this leather, I was lost! *.*
Please pay attention to all the details in the costume, like knitting needles, fixing pins, measuring tape, yarns, scissors, etc. - I gave much thought to them! ^^

Overall I like the way the costume turned out, but I have to sew another shirt to wear under the corset. There wasn't enough time to do so before Animuc 2013, so I had to take one out of my cupboard
